CtrlX – Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using CtrlX, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use CtrlX. If you use CtrlX on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization. CtrlX is a self-help habit control application and is not medical, clinical, or therapeutic advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction if higher, to use CtrlX. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. CtrlX is not intended for users under 13 under any circumstances.

3. Your Account

You must provide accurate account information and keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials, session, and devices. We may send operational emails such as signup OTPs and password resets. You may delete your account at any time by contacting blinkpacehq@gmail.com. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk to the service or users.

4. Virtual XCoins

Completing an earn action (work completed) grants in‑app xcoins. You may spend xcoins for an access purchase, which provides a 12‑hour access window that lets you temporarily bypass an action. xcoins are used only inside CtrlX. xcoins are not real money, have no monetary value, and cannot be purchased with real money. xcoins cannot be exchanged, traded, transferred, refunded, sold, converted into currency, or used outside CtrlX. We may modify or revoke xcoins, access windows, or balances to maintain fair use or correct errors.

5. How CtrlX Works

Users earn xcoins by completing actions they define (for example, a workout or task). Users can spend xcoins on an access purchase, which grants a temporary access window. The app records actions and wallet changes for your own tracking and progress.

6. Actions and Safety

CtrlX allows you to define your own actions. You are solely responsible for choosing safe, healthy, and appropriate actions. Do not choose or perform dangerous, extreme, harmful, or medically unsafe actions. CtrlX is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or addiction treatment. If you are dealing with addiction, mental health concerns, or self‑harm urges, seek qualified professional support. We disclaim responsibility for any harm arising from actions you choose to perform.

7. Acceptable Use

Do not use CtrlX for illegal, abusive, harmful, or harassing purposes. Do not encourage self‑harm or harm to others. Do not upload malicious code or interfere with the app. Do not reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse automation. Do not manipulate the xcoin system, access windows, or event logs. We may remove content, suspend features, or terminate accounts for violations.

8. Intellectual Property

CtrlX, including software, branding, and content, is owned by Blinkpace Creative Solutions or licensed to us. You receive a personal, non‑transferable, revocable license to use CtrlX under these Terms. You may not copy, modify, sublicense, or exploit CtrlX beyond permitted use.

9. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, abuse the platform, engage in unsafe use, remain inactive for an extended period, or if we discontinue the service. Upon termination, your license to use CtrlX ends and in‑app xcoins may be forfeited without compensation.

10. Disclaimers

CtrlX is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non‑infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error‑free access. CtrlX does not provide medical or clinical advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blinkpace is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability will not exceed the greater of USD $25 or amounts you paid (if any), noting that CtrlX currently has no real‑money payments. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; your rights may vary.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria. Where legally permitted, disputes will be resolved through good‑faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to competent courts in Nigeria. Users in the US, UK, or EU may have mandatory consumer rights under local laws; where those conflict with this section, local laws apply.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
